RCI PFPU-1-BF
The PFPU-1-BF is a portable contaminant removal system for use in both above and below ground, storage tanks. It is specifically designed to remove water and other heavy contaminants common to stored diesel fuel. The bag filter on this model aids in the removal of sludge. The unit can fit through doorways and up stairways. It can be used in almost any location, from rooftop to shipboard.
This PFPU-1-BF operates on 115 Volt power and is lightweight enough for one-person handling and operation. (12 Volt and 230 Volt powered systems are available.). It is used as primary fuel purification and removes up to 99.8% of free water and up to 95% of other heavy contaminant, down to approximately 10 microns. The filters found on diesel engines provide the secondary and final fuel filtration from 2 to 5 microns.
The PFPU 1-BF is factory pre-assembled and consists of a RCI FP 1000 Fuel Purifier, a self-priming fuel pump; UL approved motor, portable hand-cart, suction and return hoses.
